Tractor and commercial vehicle enthusiasts are gearing up for Tractor World Autumn, on 6-7 October 2018, at Newbury Showground, Priors Court, Hermitage, Thatcham, Berkshire RG18 9QZ – less than one mile from junction 13 of the M4.
The event will bring together the best in vintage tractors and agricultural machinery, along with stationary engines, scale models, national and regional club displays, classic plant, miniature steam engines, trade stands and a vintage auction, to be conducted by H J Pugh.
There’s a classic commercial show to accompany the tractors during the event, with a ‘drive-in’ day on the Sunday for those that simply wish to turn up and display their classic truck or van without pre-booking.
Themes for this year’s show include classic and modern tractors from 1965-2000 and a Field-Marshall/Marshall tractor gathering, as well as other special displays.
Show organiser Mark Woodward said: “The Blue Force club has now gathered together an almost complete line-up of Fordson F and N models, from an early Ministry of Munitions version to a 1945 model built in the last 10 days of production, and these will be on display at Newbury”.
It’s also the time to get items booked in for the H J Pugh auction. To enter lots in the Saturday auction, please contact H J Pugh for an entry form on 01531 631122 or visit the website: www.hjpugh.com
