On 1 October 2018, Claas dealer Olivers concluded the purchase of the business activities of Southern Petworth in Sussex and Western Winchester in Hampshire from Claas UK, so expanding their business from three to five branches and extending their trading area down to the south coast. At the same time Southern Ashford in Kent has also been acquired by Claas Manns Ltd and will be rebranded Manns Kent.
The purchase of the Petworth and Winchester businesses follows the purchase of the Southern Harvesters Reading business by Olivers in 2015, and further extends the successful partnership between Claas and Olivers, while also allowing their continued long-term growth.
