The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show is set to return to Newbury Showground on 6 November 2024 and this year attendees can expect to see the Köckerling Allrounder Bio, among many other exciting machines, a live auction and more.

The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show showcases agricultural companies large and small under one roof at the expansive Newbury Showground. It gives all attendees a fantastic – and free! – one day opportunity to sample and keep up to date with all things farming and farm-related, new products and services and the latest farm machinery from the region’s top manufacturers and dealers.

Just one of the highlights that visitors to the Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show this year will be able to see is the Köckerling Allrounder Bio.

On display on the Samagri stand, this is a mounted machine for full surface cultivation at a consistent shallow depth. For use in regenerative and conventional tillage systems, it’s available in various widths from 4-7m. The Allrounder Bio has four rows of tines at a spacing of 15cm, followed by up to three rows of following harrows. The aggressiveness of these is also hydraulically controlled. When equipped with 220mm wide goosefoot points the cultivator will move all plant residue across its full working width.

Designed to work without a packer roller, soil and plant residue is not reconsolidated, meaning that weeds and volunteers are left on the surface to dry. In a more conventional system, these machines can be used up to 13cm working depth.
