The Kent County Agricultural Society are delighted to announce that Biddenden Tractorfest will go ahead on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August 2022, returning to original site Holden Farm near The Three Chimneys.
After making the difficult decision to postpone the event in 2021, the committee are now thrilled to now be in a position to run this popular event in 2022, with many of the dedicated volunteers still forming much of the organising committee.
Having taken over the organisation of Tractorfest in 2019, the Kent County Agricultural Society are looking forward to working alongside the committee on the return of this community event. The Kent Showground itself has seen the return of many events since the listing of coronavirus restrictions, including two of their own events, The Kent County Summer Fayre and the Heritage Transport Show. The team are excited to give strength to the Biddenden Tractorfest Committee with their many years of experience running large outdoor events.
Julian Barnes, Vice Chairman of the Kent County Agricultural Society, owner of Biddenden Vineyards and resident in the village said, “We are really looking forward to finally being able to go ahead with Biddenden Tractorfest. We are so proud to be working alongside the many volunteers that know this event well and we hope to do them proud by being part of such a valuable event for the community. The aims of the committee that run Tractorfest are in line with the charitable objectives of the Kent County Agricultural Society, so it made sense to form the partnership.”
Biddenden Tractorfest will be returning to the larger site of Holden Farm, where it was held in 2016/17, which will allow better access for vehicles and by foot, as well as even more space for trade stands, vehicle entries and visitors.
