  1. First up, click on the ‘Sell Machinery’ tab. Or click here.
  2. Next up, choose your package…
    • Bronze is completely free and your listing will go into the next edition of Farm Machinery, and then online once that issue has been published.
    • Silver costs £29.00 + VAT which means your listing will go into the next edition of Farm Machinery and online IMMEDIATELY.
    • Gold costs £49.00 + VAT which means your listing will go into the next edition of Farm Machinery AND Agricultural Trader, PLUS it will go online immediately.
  3. Once you have chosen your package, you need to create an account with Farm Machinery Buyer (please note, if you already have an account with Farm Machinery or Agricultural Trader, you will need to re-set your password).
  4. When you have created your account and/or logged in to your account, scroll to the bottom of your Profile Page and click ADD LISTING.

Now it’s time to sell your machinery!
  5. First up, confirm your advert type – BRONZE, SILVER or GOLD.
  6. Next, select a category which your machinery fits under. This will make it easier for buyers to find your machinery. If you don’t see a relevant category, choose ‘Other’.
  7. Then enter the price of your machinery, the currency and any further pricing instructions (e.g whether the machinery includes VAT or if you’re open to offers).
  8. Next, add the title of your advert. This will likely be the make and model of your machinery. This is the first piece of information that buyers will see, so make sure it’s informative and stands out!
  9. After that, enter a description of your machinery. The more details the better!
  10. Next, add some advert keywords, like the make and model of your machinery, the year of manufacture and/or its condition. These will help buyers find your machinery.

Have a YouTube video of your machinery? That can be added in the YouTube box – just paste the url of the video.
  11. Finally, it’s time to add some images. Make sure they are as high res as possible – they can be as big as 4MB. They can be in PNG or JPEG format, which is the usual format for pictures taken on a camera or phone. Click on the photo box and browse through your photo library to select the images you want. You can add up to six!
  12. Then it’s time to submit your listing! Click ‘Submit Listing’ at the bottom of the page.
  13. If you have selected Silver or Gold packages, this will take you to a payment page, where you can fill out your card details securely.

That’s it! Your listing will be included via your relevant package. To find out the publication dates of Farm Machinery, click here.
