Winton 4.5cm Ripper & Pipe Layer WRP1
Winton 4.5cm Ripper & Pipe Layer WRP1
Description
The WRP1 Winton 4.5cm Ripper & Pipe Layer is ideal for smallholdings and other small groundworks needs. It is designed for laying water pipe or armoured cable. The attachment benefits from being quick and easy to use. The WRP1 is perfect for flexible pipe or cabling up to 4.5cm diameter. Maximum diameter of pipe or cable being laid depends on its flexibility, so please call for guidance if unsure. Usual operating depth is 45cm, but this depends on soil type and tractor size. The maximum depth is 60cm. The working depth can be easily adjusted. This is achieved by unbolting the ripper sections and repositioning at the desired height. To operate the tractor, the linkage arms should be lowered towards the ground whilst slowly moving forwards. The ripper will dig into the soil. Lower the implement to the desired level and feed through the pipe/cable. This means you may need a second person to feed in the pipe whilst driving. Then lift the attachment out of the soil when completed and run over the ripped soil with your tractor tyres. This will leave a neat finish. The blade is reversible when it is worn down, but can be easily replaced. Therefore, this will save both time and money. The pipe layer section can be completely removed so it can be used the unit as a stand alone ripper. The Winton 4.5cm Ripper & Pipe Layer can be attached to the 3 point linkage of a range of small or compact tractors. This attachment is quick and simple to fit and operate, which saves time and effort.

About Farm Tech Supplies Limited

Farm Tech Supplies Ltd was established in late 2011 after our founder wanted to manage and maintain his smallholding but was struggling to find equipment. He simply wanted to pick up a selection of attachments to fit his compact tractor, fit through the 6ft gateways and without the premium price tag of larger agricultural machinery.

His home in Petersfield, Hampshire became the office, warehouse, workshop, and distribution hub. This remained so for several years until the business took off and, in 2015, moved to bespoke premises Blacknest, Hampshire.

The Winton compact tractor attachment brand was established in 2016. This started with upgrading the top selling mowers and, over the years, extended to adding more and more equipment which passed the quality and robustness levels required by the Winton name and badge.

Farm Tech Supplies were then appointed the main dealer for the Italian range of Agrint machinery in 2017, providing another strong range of equipment to the extensive catalogue. This followed swiftly to other household favourite brands such as Fleming, Deleks, Hackett and Oxdale.
