Sun shines on European Ploughing Champions

Fifty-four ploughing champions from thirteen different countries took part in the 2025 European Ploughing Championships when England hosted the event, held at Upper Morton, near Retford, Nottinghamshire on 1-2 March. The event was held by kind permission of Joseph Camm Farming Ltd and incorporated both the European Reversible Ploughing Championships and the European Vintage Ploughing Championships.  For two days, the sun shone for the ploughmen taking part, as they showed off their skills to interested spectators. JCB forms joint venture for mobile green hydrogen infrastructure

The UK’s hydrogen industry has been given a transformative boost with the formation of HyKit, a joint venture that will produce agile infrastructure to move, store and utilise green hydrogen. The venture has been formed by JCB, investment company HYCAP and green pioneer HydraB Group to manufacture key products for the clean economy. Starting in 2025 from a state-of-the-art unit in Oxfordshire, HyKit will build a suite of products to assist hydrogen distribution, including mobile compressors, storage solutions and refuelling systems. The PathCross ATV is described by its manufacturer, AODES, as its newest sensation and a trailblazer in their off-road series. New Holland plans first UK display of new T5 Dual Command

New Holland will display for the first time in the UK, at Lamma 2025, the new T5 Dual Command. Part of the new T5 series, which comprises five models from 80-117hp all powered by FPT F36 3.6-litre four-cylinder engines, the tractor has been given a new look and a series of updates designed to improve productivity and operator comfort. BvL to announce new higher capacity feeder at LAMMA

BvL will be unveiling a new higher capacity 25m3 version of the V-MIX DRIVE MAXIMUS PLUS self-propelled diet feeder at LAMMA, that will also include a number of updates and new features to the specification. Currently the BvL V-MIX DRIVE MAXIMUS PLUS range is available with either a single or twin auger with capacities ranging from 11m3 up to 21m3 and is powered by either a FPT 128hp 4-cylinder or 224hp 6-cylinder engines.
